HTC U11 Life Rumored to Launch on November 2, Alleged Specs Leaked

This year we’ve watched as HTC has launched their new U series with a couple of new devices on the market already. We’ve been hearing rumors of two more HTC U devices that have yet to be revealed with one being called the HTC U11 Plus and the other being the HTC U11 Life. There’s also supposed to be an Android One device that will be a rebranded version of the HTC U11 Life but so far details about it have been sparse. Today though, a new leak sheds some light on what we should expect from HTC with the new U11 Life smartphone.

HTC is sending out press invites for a launch event but the company hasn’t revealed what they’ll be unveiling. Rumors suggest they will be announcing both the HTC U11 Plus as well as the U11 Life at the event. The original rumor about HTC’s new Android One device said it would be a rebranded version of the U11 Life, but this new information claims that will not happen. Instead, the U11 Life itself will be the Android One device that we’ve been hearing about and it will come with Google’s stock Android software.

As always, rumors are meant to be taken with a grain of salt so we’ll just have to wait a couple more weeks before we know for sure. This information from WinFuture also comes with some alleged specs of the device as well and this is something that we hadn’t heard about before. We already suspected that it would be a mid-range smartphone but that was about it. If this information is true, we can expect the HTC U11 Life to have a 5.2″ 1080p display with a fingerprint scanner right underneath it.

Inside, we’re looking at the Snapdragon 630 SoC, an unknown amount of RAM, a 2,600mAh capacity battery, 32GB of internal storage and a microSD slot for storage expansion. The back of the device will house a 16MP sensor and other features include NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and Gigabit WLAN with dual-band support.
