Bloatware Rant

Usually when you upgrade to a new phone it will come with all kinds of extra surprise apps that don’t do much to improve your experience. This is called bloatware. Third party apps that you’ll probably never use and take up storage and processing resources on your phone. In this video, Rawad rants about bloatware and how it has a negative effect on the user experience.

There are several ways you can go about trashing the bloatware on your phone. Out of the box, these apps are usually installed as system apps which means you are not able to uninstall them from your app manager. The best way to get rid of them is to root your device and use an app that allows you to uninstall system apps. Any uninstaller app will do but one that I’ve used throughout the centuries is System app remover (root). If your phone isn’t rooted then you can try to disable them through your app manager.

Settings > Apps > App Info > Disable
